Lubrication Management in CEE II Overview
In our presentation at the Lubmat 2018 conference, we described the situation of lubrication management in Central Europe at that time, and how MOL-LUB Ltd., as a leading regional lubricant manufacturer, contributed to the spread of advanced lubrication practices. Since then, there have been significant changes in the world, the economy, and the structure of industry, with increasing emphasis on improving efficiency; developing the professional application of lubricants now plays a key role in enabling more economical and reliable machine operation. In response to these challenges, MOL-LUB has taken major steps to expand both its services and its knowledge-sharing activities.
To this day, we are continuously working to provide our partners with complex, customized lubrication solutions that help them operate their machinery in a sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective way. Over the past seven years, our service portfolio has grown to include new tools for lubricant protection and visual diagnostics. These additions enable users to achieve greater reliability and efficiency in both lubricant use and overall machine performance.
We have also reached a new level in knowledge sharing: MOL-LUB Ltd. is now active not only by work-shops at its own sites, but also at customer facilities and technical universities. In collaboration with technical universities, we have relaunched lubrication engineering expert course, now offering the opportunity to earn a university degree. We are also producing a wide range of online educational materials, blogs, podcasts, and videos to ensure users have access to up-to-date, practical knowledge.
Interest in professional lubrication management can also be measured numerically: by the end of 2025, we had held 25 workshops with the participation of 260 professionals from 96 companies. In recent years, both the number of events and participants have grown significantly, reflecting the increasing interest and commitment in this field.
Through our presentation, we will provide an overview of the state of lubrication in Central Europe based on self-assessments from our workshops, and present case studies showing how MOL-LUB Ltd.’s work has helped partners improve machine reliability and reduce lubricant, maintenance, and energy costs.
One of the most important tasks for the future is to ensure the long-term sustainability of this progress—we will also share insights into our short- and medium-term plans in this regard.
